Sabaton wish you a Heavy New Year. On next Monday we start our real recordings of the "Coat of Arms" album. You will be able to follow the recordings via our Youtube channel.
We also have another teaser from the upcoming album. This song is more earlier Sabaton style with more guitarwork. This song is not yet recorded, this is just a pre-production/demo version of the song.
We started the tour in Essen with the releaseparty for the Art of War album. Now 160 shows in more then 25 countries later we returned to end the tour in the same city.
We can simply say it has been a fantastic tour that gave us so many unforgettable moments.
For this show we invited the most of the crewmembers who have been with us for a year and a half now and as our special guests we invited Grailknights who also were part of our headlinetour.
The core of our european fans from all nations were present and its hard to describe the feeling it was to return to place where this amazing trip started!
Now we are back home and within just a few days the recordings of the new album will start...

Tomorrow we head for London for our last show in the UK for -09 and it's just a few tickets left so go ahead and get one now while there still some left...
-FINALLY! Thats what we cheered when we could confirm that Sabaton will be coming to Turkey during the festivalseason 2010. We will be playing at Unirock in Istanbul in the first weekend of July.
Once again we will attend the Metallsvenskan in Örebro, a footballtournament for metalbands aswell as some concerts.
Last year Sabaton both played in the football tournament and a show in the evening. Its too early to say if Sabaton will put together a football team but for sure we will put on a show.
We look forward to this event where we will be playing co-headline with Twisted Sister.

A few weeks ago we unfortunately could not play in Skien due to a powerfailure. Due to this we now add one date exclusivly for Norway to return to Skien and give our fans this show.
Normally this period would be a time of recovering and resting from touring and recording but we cannot let the people in Skien down.
See you there and dont forget to order your tickets.

The show in Essen is still the last one of the Art of War tour and will be the time when we put some of our songs into retirement. What we do in Skien we dont know yet but it will be a surprise.
We are very happy that we can announce that Sabaton is playing on the biggest rockfestival in France, Hellfest. Sadly our fans in France has been suffering from lack of shows lately, but that will change!
2 times before we have visited the Masters of Rock festival and it has given us unforgettable moments. Now we can confirm that we are coming back for 2010.
The summer is filling up quite fast with festivals all around.
