We recently asked you to send Pär, our bassist, some questions on our social media channels so you could get to know him a bit better. After going through the many great questions you sent, Pär selected his four favourite and these were his answers:
Hello Pär! What aspects of your early years have contributed most to your music today?
I assume listening to Grave Digger and Savatage gave me ideas for writing about historical themes.
When did you figure out that yes, this is what I want to do for a living?
I figured it out at the age of 13. Until that point, I wanted to do computers.
What’s your favourite Sabaton song from the album The War To End All Wars and why?
Definitely Dreadnought. I haven’t been able to get it out of my head since the first time Joakim presented the guitar riff and I said: “This is a song about a ship.”
Have you found your place on earth?
Yes, it is on the stage!
