Sabaton will play Germany’s Reload Festival in August 2019 – making their event debut with a headlining slot.
Reload, held in Sulingen, North West Germany, launched in 2006 as an indoor event and has grown rapidly over the last 13 years.
The 2019 show will be Sabaton’s first appearance at this festival, and the band is heading straight in at the top of the running order.
Bass player Pär Sundström said: “It’s amazing to think that after 20 years of touring and playing live, there are still some festivals around the world that we haven’t played yet, and up to now Reload has been one of them.
“It’s exciting for us to play a new event, because it’s a whole new experience for us with new festival teams to work with and new metal fans to meet.
“We’re looking forward to bringing our show to this festival for the first time and showing them what Sabaton is all about!”
