Sabaton headlining Bloodstock Festival 2019

Sabaton will play their first ever UK festival headline slot at Bloodstock Open Air next summer.

The band’s first time at Bloodstock was in 2009, when their set was 30 minutes long and they could only play six songs.

Now, exactly a decade later, Sabaton will play the headline set on Friday 9 May and will be taking over the main stage with a full festival-scale production.

Bass player Pär Sundström said: “It’s incredible to think that the band who started out with a 30-minute lunchtime set is returning as main stage headliner 10 years later.

“We know many of the people who were there in 2009 have been supporting us ever since, so we want to dedicate this show to them and we promise it will be one to remember!”

The Bloodstock show will be Sabaton’s only UK date in 2019, so get your tickets now.
