Sabaton will play Download Madrid for the first time in Summer 2019 – adding a fourth international edition of the ever-popular rock festival to their list of conquests.
Not satisfied with simply being the UK’s biggest rock festival for 15 years, Download has been expanding overseas in recent years, and Sabaton has been with them along the way.
The band has played at Download France and Download Australia, as well as bringing their electrifying live show to main stage at the original UK edition twice – and Spain now makes it a full house of Downloads for Sabaton.
Bass player Par Sundstrom said: “We’ve always had a great working relationship with Download and have enjoyed being a part of this British festival’s growth around the world.
“We’ve played at Download in three separate countries so far, and every show is different, so now it’s time to see what the Spanish Download crowd has got for us!”
