Vive la Knotfest meets Hellfest!

France’s biggest metal festival expands into a fourth day next summer in a powerhouse partnership with international festival Knotfest – and Sabaton will play the newly-created date.

The band will take to the main stage on Thursday 20 June 2019, alongside the mighty Slipknot – after whom Knotfest is named – Rob Zombie and Amon Amarth, for what promises to be an epic and unique event.

Bassplayer Pär Sundström said: “Hellfest is a very popular festival, the original three days have sold out already, so it’s great that it’s getting even bigger this year and we’re excited to be a part of it.

“Whether people already have tickets and want to extend their festival experience, or just come along for the day to see us and the other bands, we look forward to partying with them all on the debut Knotfest-meets-Hellfest Thursday!”

Sabaton is a firm favourite with Hellfest fans, and the band last played the festival in 2017.
