10 YEARS!
Well, that was the 10 years anniversary concert of Sabaton!
And what a concert: Total of 3000 people from Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Hungary, USA, Poland, Czech Republik, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Austria, United Kingdom and Estonia were present in Falun.
Thanks for a fantastic party and see you on our 20 years anniversary.
This was Sabatons shortest show ever, but what a show we did.
Many thanks to all metalmaniacs that helped us out with the Swedish national anthem, and after that showed Sweden Rock how to jump & scream to the bonus song Primo Victoria!
Only 6 minutes on stage this day, and now we will enjoy the rest of the festival and maybe have a beer or twenty-five.
Next week we will do the hardest show ever in our hometown Falun, on Rockstad: Falun
We wish all of those who attended our show today a warm welcome to celebrate our 10:th anniversary.

We are now confirmed to play at Exitfest in Serbia and the concert in Transylvania is now on a changed date. ------------------------ TRANSYLVANIA is on the 9th of july. EXITFEST is on the 11th of july.
This Friday: 15 May 2009, Sabaton songs will be on air on Radio Sofia (The Sofia Regional program of the Bulgarian National Radio) between 16h & 18h local time. (94.5 MHz frequency in Bulgaria)
This will happen during a regular historical program called "Clio's Hour" which will be all dedicated to WWII this Fri. Chronologically ordered Sabaton songs related to this topic will be used to give a skeleton to the discussion between bright historians and famous "infocholics".
It's the first time ever metal songs will back up this radio program!
We would like to inform you that this weekends footballgames were very entertaining, both for us and for the crowd. Unfortunate Sabaton did not win this time, but we can proudly say we fought hard on the green fields of Örebro.
However, during the evening we could call it a victory. The show at Conventum Arena were fantastic and we lack words to thank the awesome fans who cheered us first at the football and then stayed with us during the concert.
Well, mabye not war this time either, but we are now ready to meet the finest bands in Heavy Metal-sweden in a fight for life this upcoming saturday in Örebro, Sweden...
Our team is reinforced by Tobbe Olsson from Leksand Superstars & Mats Levén (Krux + ex Yngwie Malmsteen & Therion) and after our first, and only, practice for real here in Falun, we are ready, to break a leg, or...?
Our single "Cliffs of Gallipoli" is close to getting gold status in Sweden. It´s not so easy to sell singles today but thanks to our great fans we are now close to reach a gold status.
Thank you Stockholm, Hovet was cooking when we entered the stage.
We are so happy with the fantastic crowd. Big thanks goes to Bullet who has been on the road with us now for about 4 weeks.
Soon the eastern part of the tour starts and we are really looking forward to this. We will visit some countries where we have not been so often and that we have been missing and we hope that you have been missing us too. And we will also for the first time visit new areas like Bulgaria and Slovakia, this will be a killer.
And to top this trip we have our headlineshows in Poland to kickstart the tour with.
We thank everyone for writing such nice things in our guestbook and we really enjoy the tour. Meanwhile we just got some happy news from Poland where the tickets are almost totally gone.
Thank you once again Belgium / Hof Ter Lo for a wonderful show and more memories! Unfortunately we'll not be able to join Hammerfall on the extra show on the 22:nd of april. Take care and hope to see you soon!
Time passes by quickly when you have fun, and fun we have had!
It is sometimes hard to realize that we have been together as long as 10 years now. Thats really something to celebrate, and were would be a better place than in our hometown Falun?!
For this show we will spend our best efforts to put together the biggest show in our career so far.
A new battlefield, the footballfield, is ours to conquer. We will fight the elite of Swedish metalbands in a football tournament where the standard rules are set aside.
And as a bonus Sabaton will also play a show during the evening.
This comes as no surprise that the first show on the upcoming tour to sell out is Hof Ter Lo. The concert is now totally sold out and there are no places where you can get tickets! And no more tickets will be available.
